About Us
Neil Weaver
I'm a Michigan landscape photographer who's been capturing the state's natural beauty for over 20 years. Lighthouses, waterfalls, and beaches are some of my favorite subjects but I especially like to photograph wide angle scenes with interesting natural features in thoughtful compositions. I routinely use single-exposure shots, often with the use of filters but I also use exposure blending in certain circumstances.
I am thankful to be a part of the Pure Michigan ad campaign, contributing images for billboards, publications, bus wraps, and corporate marketing partnerships. My work has also been featured by U.P. Travel, The Weather Channel, Field & Stream, Michigan BLUE and Lake Superior Magazines among others. I sell prints, calendars, and image licensing through my website (see below).
I currently reside in Mid Michigan with my wife Kristina and our three kids, who often come along with me on my photo adventures.
Here’s a recent interview with PBS program Destination Michigan.
Aubrieta V. Hope
I am a photographer and writer who loves to create images and write articles about Michigan's wild and scenic places. My goal is to tell a story with each picture I shoot and to paint a picture in the mind's eye with each article I write. I often use wide-angle, long-exposure or subtle HDR techniques to convey what I see and feel behind the lens. At heart, I am a shoreline shooter with a deep appreciation for sunsets and night skies.
My images and articles have been featured by Pure Michigan, Midwest Living Magazine, Traverse City Tourism, Northland Adventurer, Outdoor Imaging, and Farley Calendar Co., among others. Through my website, I sell photographic prints as well as digital downloads to individuals and businesses. My pictures are also available as photographic souvenirs at parks and gift shops across the state.
